ISNIH (InterSyndicat National des Internes des Hôpitaux) is the trade union of french residents which are both students and workers. ISNIH has a federal structure. Twenty eight independantly trade union or associations of residents are linked together in the national organisation : ISNIH. The main aims are to improve working conditions, theoric formation, and all interests of junior Doctors in France.
In 2007, iSNIH organized a big strike to protect the freedom to choose the area to practise for junior Doctors and succeed in its claim.
