EJD was represented at the annual #AMEE2022 medical education conference that took place at Lyon Convention Centre, Lyon, France from 27-31 August 2022 by its Liaison Officer Valentina Pugelj, Medical Workforce Committee Chair Alvaro Cerame, Postgraduate Training Committee Shruti Sharma and Administration Officer Ellen McCourt.

The European Junior Doctors Association presented several presentations on various issues of interest and importance to junior doctors accross Europe, based on recently acquired and analyzed data from EJD's membership surveys, namely:

  • COVID-19 impact on PGT in Europe

  • Junior Doctor Wellbeing During the Covid-19 pandemic: a view from across Europe

Furthermore, a workshop on “Compassionate PGT: caring for and about our trainees - getting the basics right” also took place during the conference, facilitated by EJD.
