EJD supports strike of junior doctors in England

The EJD continues to support junior doctors in England and the BMA as they take action in order to achieve a contract that is safe for patients, fair for junior doctors and good for the NHS.
Junior doctors in England will tomorrow take part in a second day of Industrial Action, after the government failed to address key concerns during contract negotiations with the British Medical Association (BMA). The EJD continues to support junior doctors in England and the BMA as they take this action in order to achieve a contract that is safe for patients, fair for junior doctors and good for the NHS. The EJD calls on the UK Government to listen to the concerns of junior doctors, particularly over hours and pay, and to remove any threat of imposition of a new contract that would compromise patient safety and devalue junior doctors.
